Men’s Retreat Mission Team
Men together in Christ generate a unique strength and healing that we crave. This mission team seeks to provide a yearly event for the network men to give and receive their love and truth.
In the middle of challenging lives we are following the example of Jesus: “The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught. Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. ” Mark 6:30-32
Mountain top experiences with Jesus give us vision, grace, strength, courage, transformation, etc. to walk in the valleys. “… Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.” Mark 9:2-3
Our team is led by Rob Lairmore (rlairmore@gmail.com, 215-528-3397). Jim Ingalls, Matt Tice, Jeff Sensenig are the other members. Jonny Rashid is the assigned pastor. We need more on our team, please let us know if you are interested.
