The Men’s Retreat proves it. Men develop spiritually. Christianity is mutually male and female.
The retreat centered around the epic tale of Joseph and followed his track of development to give a good excuse to consider our own. It was the best retreat ever.
Simple: music, input, small group dialogue, camp food, basketball and gaga, earth art, a fire ritual (well, maybe it was not altogether simple).
Nurturing: friendship across congregations, talking sex, telling our stories, worship, spontaneous mentoring, rest (well, if going to sleep about 2am is restful).
Thanks to Jim Ingalls and Joshua Grace for leading a good planning team. Thanks to the Lord for leading so many of us into deeper territory in the Spirit.
