Indeed. I'm grateful that so many people already do the work of administering the gospel, and so many were interested in exploring the vocation!

I share Dave's delight and I delight in his good leadership of the process.

I have been around the block a few times (and a few times with the Circle of Hope) but I don't think I have ever been involved with such a "deep bench." I mean -- we have a lot of talented and caring people among us! We had so many good possibilities, it was a hard choice to discern who was the best one to serve as Director of Operations at this time. All four of our final candidates could have done it -- and as I listened to them, I wanted each to get the chance! I wish we had more paying jobs.

But, of course, the paying jobs are the tip, tip of the iceberg when it comes to workers and passion. Can't be a conductor without an orchestra.
